Getting started
What is Edjobster AI Tools?
AI hiring agents that plug into the recruiting stack you already run — Zoho Recruit, your mailbox, a Chrome extension — and screen and rank applicants with written reasons. You don't replace your ATS; we work inside it.
How does the trial work?
14 days, 50 screening credits, every feature, no card required. When it ends, AI actions pause until you pick a plan — your data, connectors, and dashboard stay intact.
Do you support my ATS?
Zoho Recruit today, plus any mailbox (Gmail, Outlook, IMAP) as an applicant source. More connectors are demand-driven — tell us what you run.
Screening
What does screening cost?
One credit per candidate per screening run. AI-assisted job-description drafting is also one credit per draft. Everything else is included in the plan.
A few candidates failed to screen. Why?
The run page shows a per-candidate reason. The common ones: your workspace ran out of credits mid-run (top up and re-run the failures); the job description was too thin for the AI to derive screening criteria from (add must-have requirements and retry); or a temporary AI-capacity blip (just retry — you're only charged for completed screenings).
What do the score bands mean?
Each candidate lands in a band based on how they meet the job's must-have and nice-to-have criteria, with written reasons. Bands cap when a must-have is missing, so a polished CV can't outrank a qualified one.
Is the AI making the hiring decision?
No. Scores are recommendations with reasons. A human reviews and decides — and the product is built so that stays true; it's also stated on every score breakdown.
Can a candidate opt out of AI screening?
Yes. Candidates can object via their data-rights link; their profile is excluded from screening and recruiters see a notice instead of a score.
Email connectors
Which email providers work?
Gmail / Google Workspace, Outlook / Microsoft 365, and any standard IMAP mailbox.
I connected my inbox but nothing is coming in.
Edjobster only reads the folder or label you picked when connecting. Make sure applications actually land there (for example, a mailbox rule moves them), or choose a different folder in the connector settings. There's also a sync button to pull immediately.
What access does the connector get?
Read-only. We never send mail from your mailbox, and we only read the folder or label you chose.
Can two workspaces connect the same mailbox?
No — a mailbox connects to one workspace at a time.
Zoho Recruit & the Chrome extension
How do I install the Zoho integration?
No marketplace app needed: you add a Link & Button in Zoho Recruit that opens Edjobster's screening panel for the candidate you're viewing. Setup takes a few minutes; we walk you through it during onboarding.
What does the Chrome extension do?
It surfaces Edjobster's score for the candidate you're viewing in your ATS, without switching tabs. It reads nothing beyond the page context needed to identify the candidate, and talks only to your Edjobster server.
How do I install the extension?
When you get started, we provide the Chrome extension as a direct install along with a short setup guide — it takes a couple of minutes.
Credits & billing
What's the difference between the plans?
Every plan runs the same AI screening engine. Plans differ on volume and reach — monthly screening credits, how many team seats you get, and which connectors you can use. Starter is one seat with the email inbox connector; Growth and Scale add more seats plus the Zoho ATS connector. A trial gets the full set, so you can evaluate everything before you choose.
Do unused plan credits roll over?
Plan credits are issued per 30-day cycle and lapse at the end of it. Top-up credits last 12 months. Credits closest to expiry are always spent first.
Why monthly credits on an annual plan?
Annual plans bill once but deliver credits in 12 monthly instalments — same cadence, better price.
Which currency will I be charged in?
Indian workspaces pay in INR, everyone else in USD, set by your billing country.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from the Billing page. You keep access and remaining credits until the end of the paid period; no further charges.
Can I get a refund?
Within the first week of a purchase (first month on an annual plan) and with credits unused, yes — see the Refund Policy for the exact rules.
Privacy & data
Does the AI see my candidates' personal details?
No. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and ID numbers are stripped or replaced with placeholders before any AI processing, and restored only on our own systems. See the Privacy Policy.
Does Edjobster train AI models on my data?
No — Edjobster does not train AI models on your data. Screening requests are processed to produce your result, with personal identifiers removed before they leave our systems.
How do candidates exercise their data rights?
Every screened candidate receives a disclosure email with a self-serve link to view, export, or erase their data — no support ticket needed.
